20. प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली (MIS)

परिभाषा, उद्देश्य, कार्य, संरचना तथा कंप्यूटर की भूमिका

सूचना और प्रौद्योगिकी के आधुनिक युग में किसी भी संगठन की सफलता उसकी इस क्षमता पर निर्भर करती है कि वह किस प्रकार डेटा का संग्रहण, प्रबंधन और उपयोग करता है। प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली (Management Information System  MIS) एक संरचित प्रणाली है, जो प्रबंधकीय कार्यों को समय पर, प्रासंगिक और सटीक सूचना उपलब्ध कराकर सहयोग देती है। यह योजना, समन्वय, निगरानी और निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रियाओं को संगठन के सभी स्तरों पर सक्षम बनाती है। MIS कच्चे डेटा को सार्थक जानकारी में परिवर्तित करती है, जो रणनीतिक और परिचालन दक्षता को बढ़ावा देती है।
