Out of turn allotment of Railway Quarter
The out of turn allotment of railway quarters is usually done in exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies, transfer of employees, or if there are no other suitable quarters available for an employee. The process of out of turn allotment can vary depending on the specific circumstances.
The out of turn of allotment of Railway Quarters would be done in the following cases.
1) Staff appointed on compassionate ground when the employee was already occupied Railway Quarter while in service.
2) Son / Daughter or wife of a Railway employee who are in Railway service when the employee retires.
3) On Medical ground getting certificate from competent Medical Officer. In general, if an employee requires an out of turn allotment of a railway quarter due to a medical emergency, they should submit a medical certificate from a government-approved hospital along with their request. The request should be made to the concerned authorities in the railway department, who will evaluate the request and make a decision based on the availability of quarters and the urgency of the situation.
4) Staff belonging SC/ST communities.
5) Handicapped employees.
6) Sport persons.
The above cases would be allotted by Quarter allotment Committee and would be allotted after the Recommendations.
